1. Development

Established in 1968, the precursor was the pharmaceutical warehouse K.45. Having undergone numerous ups and downs and several name changes with different business structures, it was successively known as First-class General Pharmaceutical Company, Central Medicinal Materials Company N.3, Central Pharmaceutical Company N.3, Central Pharmaceutical N.3 Company Limited. On October 15, 2014, the Ministry of Health approved the plan for equitization and transformation into a joint-stock company named Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company N.3 according to the certificate of business registration, from 25/03/2015.

2. Experience

More than 56 years experience in the production, preparation, and distribution of pharmaceuticals. With a priority focus on investing in research and improving product quality to meet advanced global standards, coupled with the ambition to develop the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam, the company aims to provide the population with high-quality products that meet domestic healthcare needs at reasonable prices.

Now, Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company N.3 specializes in manufacturing pharmaceutical products (non-betalactam line) and health supplements. Exporting and importing, wholesaling, retailing, bidding and supplying drugs, and medical equipment.

3. Manufacturing

Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company N.3 owns a manufacturing factory that complies with WHO-GMP standards. It includes non-betalactam production line for tablets and powder, production line for ointments and liquid medicine for external use. The plant is equipped with advanced, modern machines and technology. The company consistently complies with international systems and standards, including GMP-WHO, GLP, GSP, GDP, GPP, and ISO 13485:2016.

Focusing on developing new products with various dosage forms, and diversifying across multiple product groups to meet treatment needs. Increasing the number of products evaluated as biosimilars.

    The OTC channel distributes products from our company’s factory. The ETC channel participates in bidding and distributing products from partners across all 63 provinces and cities. All branches have warehouses that meet GDP standards. The logistic distribution system continues to be invested in  building a robust platform, actively engaging in business, and leveraging advantages.

    With over 20 years of participation in bidding activities, the company has successfully collaborated with numerous major hospitals across the country, notably central and central highlands provinces such as Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi,… The two main product categories that the company focuses on in current tenders are pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
